Booking Terms & Conditions.

Please note that certain special programs, including trekking routes, adventure expeditions, and outdoor activities, may be subject to specific operational conditions and restrictions.

For further details, please consult your MACHUPICCHU EXCLUSIVE TOURS Travel Designer at the time of booking.

Once you have selected your travel program, we kindly ask you to carefully review these Terms & Conditions, as all reservations are subject to the policies outlined herein.

A reservation will be considered confirmed only when:

• MACHUPICCHU EXCLUSIVE TOURS receives the completed booking form
• The required deposit payment has been received
• A written confirmation has been issued by our team

Programs may include the following services, depending on the confirmed itinerary:

• Accommodation
• Meals specified in the itinerary
• Excursions and guided visits
• Ground transportation indicated in the program
• Service charges and applicable taxes previously detailed in the travel proposal

VAT / Tax Information

The 18% Peruvian VAT (IGV) applies only to Peruvian citizens and foreign residents in Peru.

Foreign travelers must present their original passport at hotel check-in in order to qualify for the hotel tax exemption according to Peruvian law.

Unless specifically stated in the confirmed itinerary, prices do not include:

• Domestic or international airport taxes
• Visa fees, when applicable
• Excess baggage charges
• Drinks, snacks, and personal expenses
• Tips, laundry service, or telephone calls
• Travel insurance
• Entrance fees or activities not specified in the final itinerary
• Expenses resulting from delays, airline cancellations, or circumstances beyond the control of MACHUPICCHU EXCLUSIVE TOURS

To confirm a reservation, a deposit per traveler is required through a secure payment link.

Please note that part of this deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the traveler.

Reservations Confirmed More Than 60 Days Before Departure

• Initial payment: booking deposit
• Remaining balance: due 60 days prior to travel

Reservations Made Within 60 Days of Departure

• Full payment is required at the time of confirmation

The deposit covers administrative expenses, logistical coordination, and reservation costs with hotels, airlines, and local providers.

Payments must be made according to the instructions detailed in the corresponding invoice. International bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the client.

MACHUPICCHU EXCLUSIVE TOURS reserves the right to modify or cancel a program due to circumstances including, but not limited to:

• Failure to complete required payments
• Situations affecting traveler safety
• Operational issues with suppliers or providers
• Force majeure events such as strikes, extreme weather conditions, social unrest, pandemics, or natural disasters

In such cases, reasonable alternatives or travel adjustments will be proposed whenever possible.

Changes requested after the reservation has been confirmed may incur administrative fees and additional costs imposed by hotels, airlines, train companies, or other service providers.

Modifications made during the trip are subject to availability and may involve additional charges.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Before Departure

• More than 60 days prior: deposit retained
• Between 60 and 46 days prior: 50% cancellation fee
• Between 45 and 31 days prior: 75% cancellation fee
• 30 days or less prior: 100% cancellation fee

During the Trip

No refunds will be issued for unused services or voluntary modifications once the journey has started.

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel cancellation insurance.

All prices are expressed in U.S. Dollars (USD) and may be subject to change due to:

• Airfare fluctuations
• Government taxes
• Entrance fee adjustments
• Exchange rate variations
• Other external operational factors

Travel quotations remain valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes:

• Trip cancellation coverage
• Medical assistance
• Emergency evacuation
• Repatriation coverage

Each traveler is responsible for:

• Holding a valid passport and required travel documentation
• Verifying visa and immigration requirements
• Assessing their physical condition for activities included in the itinerary
• Complying with local laws and regulations

All personal information provided by the traveler will be used exclusively for the organization and operation of the contracted services.

MACHUPICCHU EXCLUSIVE TOURS is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and protection of all personal data.

Any issue or concern should be communicated during the trip whenever possible so our team can provide immediate assistance and attempt to resolve the matter promptly.

Post-trip claims must be submitted in writing within 7 days after the completion of services.

Any dispute arising from the services provided by MACHUPICCHU EXCLUSIVE TOURS shall be governed by Peruvian law and resolved in the city of Cusco, Peru.

The confirmation and payment of any reservation implies full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
