Our social commitment is translated into six concrete and sustained fronts of action, designed together with the Andean communities where we operate.

Each initiative aims to create real opportunities, strengthen human dignity and preserve the traditions that give Peru its identity.

Tangible, lasting actions

5.1.1

Fair work, training and dignity for porters, horsemen, cooks and muleteers — up to 8× the agricultural wage.

5.1.2

Designed with Andean families: textile weaving, potato harvesting, ceremonies, dyeing demonstrations and more.

5.1.3

School supplies, clothing and food for vulnerable families — with a special focus on orphaned children in Calca.

5.1.4

Proyecto Huevos del Ande (childhood anemia), medical campaigns, education and women's empowerment programmes.

5.1.5

When travelers donate, MET matches their contribution and coordinates direct delivery to the people who need it most.

5.1.6

Travelers donate clothing, school supplies and toys — we collect, organise and personally deliver them to remote communities.
